Domande frequenti

Where can I sell rare Pokémon TCG cards online?
On a specialised card marketplace, not a general auction site. Trademeup charges a 3 % selling commission and buyer protection is chosen and paid for by the buyer. Cardmarket charges 5 %, eBay around 11 % plus listing fees. On a 500 € card that is a difference of roughly 40 euros.
What is the best way to sell rare Pokémon cards?
Work out the market price for your exact condition first, grade honestly, then ship with photos and tracking. Listing at the market price means waiting; listing 5 to 10 percent below it usually sells within days. For cards worth more than about 300 euros raw, it is worth checking first whether grading earns back the commission and the roughly 25 euros to submit.
Which Pokémon TCG marketplace has the lowest fees?
Trademeup takes 3 % of the sale price, from private and professional sellers alike. Cardmarket takes 5 %, eBay around 11 % plus listing fees depending on the category. Buyer protection costs the seller nothing here: the buyer chooses it and pays for it, 7 % for private sellers and 5 % for professional ones.
What shipping options are there when selling Pokémon TCG cards?
Up to roughly 30 euros in value a rigid envelope with a toploader is enough. Above that, use tracking, or you lose every proof of delivery in a dispute. Postage is calculated from the weight: a single card is about 4 grams, and for sealed products you have to enter the real weight.
How do I spot fake Pokémon TCG cards on online marketplaces?
By light and by the cut. A genuine card has a black core layer visible at the edge when you hold it against light, and a clean matte print with no dot pattern under magnification. For expensive cards ask for photos of the actual copy from front, back and edge, and buy with buyer protection so you get your money back if something is wrong after all.
